Low Reaction Acne Diet

Most interesting thing associated with food sensitivities is that many people get addicted of that particular food that harm them. Most of the people says that they feel good and energized after taking that particular food. It is still unknown how they are linked together, but it is said that proteins, present in that food, may act in a similar way to the body’s natural endorphins which results in less pain and give a natural high.

Scientist have created endorphin-like substances from the proteins in wheat, milk, barley and com and shown that they are associated to the body’s endorphins sites. If you think that it happens to you too then think of that food which you couldn’t resist in any case and you will come to know that you are sensitive to that food. When you stop eating them you will feel more worst few days before feeling better.

Its not important that food sensitivities are root cause of skin problems but they could be an exacerbating factor. You can find out food allergies with the help of nutritionist or other health practitioner. There are many reasons behind food sensitivities. for instance, lack of digestive enzymes, leaky gut, frequent intake of gut irritants (such as chemicals, coffee and alcohol), lowered immunity or an over-proliferation of ‘bad’ bacteria in the gut.

Food that should be eliminated:

It is necessary to deal with food sensitives by finding out the most likely culprits. In this way you can fight with food sensitivities. There is some diet plans available through which you can find actual culprits by eliminating suspected food.

Suspected food should be eliminated for atleast two weeks. From the following list, avoid one food at a time to find out the suspected food: wheat products like bread, most cereals, pasta, pizza, biscuits, muffins, cakes, pastries and pies diary products like cheese, yoghurt or fromage frais eggs and egg containing products cheese, yoghurt or fromage frais. Processed foods which contains preservatives, coloring and artificial flavoring. When you avoid above food or food group, observe your skin condition. After two weeks, reintroduce that food and monitor your skin condition whether that food effects your skin condition. If you feel that it effects negatively your skin then start avoiding that food otherwise take it as normally you take. When you have done with one food group then start next food in the same way.

Multi-elimination diet:

In this type of diet, those foods are completely eliminated from your diet which effects your skin health negatively and foods that you are allergic and those food which you take daily. All those foods which included in above section should be avoided. It is highly recommended that you should follow this diet under an experienced health professional guidance. For children it is necessary to hire professional expertise to ensure that your children are getting full required nutrients.

Food that should be included in diet:

vegetables except potatoes, tomatoes and sweet corn which are on the ‘suspect’ list fruits Rice, millet, buckwheat and quinoa Oats, rye and barley (some people may allergic to gluten present in it) fresh meats, fish, beans and lentils (soya may cause allergy to some people)

After avoiding all foods for a month, re-introduce food one by one with five day gap before re-introducing next one. In this way you will find out that which food causes allergy. It is good if you draw a chart when you reintroduce any food. Chart should contains all details regarding dates of starting that particular food and when it shows reactions.

If a food shows reaction again then avoid that food atleast for another six months. After six months re-test it by eating it again and monitor it again. During that avoidance time you should improve your digestive and immune system to minimize the chances of being sensitive to such foods.
